One Body Ministries is pleased to present a clean, monitored chat room for believers and non-believers alike. There is no membership required, but there are some basic rules that must be followed. We ask that when using one of our chat rooms, you adhere to the following guidlines:
No profanity. Keep your language clean. As Christians we need to exemplify Christ in every way, this includes the way we carry ourselves in both actions and speech.
No flaming. There will be no personal attacks. If you have a problem with somebody in the chat room, take it offline or contact one of our staff.
No "scrolling." Scrolling is when you hit the enter key and scroll lines of text in an effort to prevent someone from speaking or hide text that was already there. All text remains in the chat room for 96 hours, so everything you say will be seen by an administrator.
No hogging the room. Give others a chance to speak, try not to "drown out" other people in the room. If there is a pressing matter or lengthy discussion, use our Forums.
Be respectful. This whole list can be summed up in those two words. Respect other people, their views, and opinions. We do not always have to agree, but we do have to respect each other.
Please note that failure to follow the above rules will result in being kicked from the chat rooms. Repeated violations will result in banning. If you have any complaints or wish to report any violations, please feel free to contact us at any time. We can be contacted in chat, the forums or by e-mail. Please be specific. The situation will be resolved as soon as possible.
